Blackbeard
Edward Teach "Blackbeard" is one of the most famous pirate captains. The reason he became so well-known is because of the fear that he created. He was the captain of four pirate ships and led an army that consisted of as many as 300 crew members. He was able to defeat Scarborough, a famous warship in a battle that was intense and brutal. He earned a fearsome reputation for his aggressiveness and lack of compassion. He was well known for charging into battle with two swords in hand. Over his career, he defeated and took over more than 40 different ships and killed anyone that crosses his path. Eventually, the Royal Navy was able to defeat Blackbeard. He was captured and eventually executed.
Henry Every
Henry Every "Long Ben" was born in 1653 and was originally a crew member of the Royal Navy. A highly notorious pirate captain, he bounced from ship to ship and eventually became a member of the Spanish expedition in 1693. He led a mutiny on the ship and managed to become a pirate captain. He led his crew through various infamous sea battles and acquired numerous treasures. As such he is regarded by many historians as one of the most successful pirates of all time. Many of the ships conquered by his crew were considered extremely valuable at the time. They were filled with riches which he and his crew looted without a care in the world.

Anne Bonny set sailed with her family and the journey led her to the New World. She met a poor sailor and got married to him, but eventually grew restless and unhappy with her life. She eventually sought out other men and found herself involved with the captain of a well-known pirate ship. Disguising herself as a man, she managed to join the pirate crew. Once she became a member of the pirate crew, her penchant for violence manifested and that led to a lot of bloodshed. Eventually, the entire crew captured and subsequently sentenced to death. However, she was able to cheat death by declaring that she was actually a woman and that she was pregnant. No one knows for sure, but it is thought that she was pardoned and then sent home where she lived out the rest of her life with her sailor husband.
