That’s right. Buying a ready-made wooden pirate ship playhouse is very, very pricey. Even the smallest one will set you back around 2000 to 3000 dollars. Imagine that - paying three thousand smackers for a playhouse? And don’t get me started on the bigger pirate ship playhouses. Each can cost upward of $5000. There’s this one model I saw online, which looks nice, but the price is just waaaaay too high. It’s about $7500 if I’m not mistaken. Only loaded folks can afford such a thing. It is going to cost you a lot less if you build one yourself. Even a big size pirate ship playhouse can be constructed for less than $1500.
Advantage #2: It will Help Develop and Strengthen the Bond between You and Your Child

Ask your kid to help you out a bit during the construction process. I’m sure he’d be more than happy to chip in. After all, you’re building a fun pirate-themed playhouse for him to play with his buddies. Of course you wouldn’t want your kid to mess around with power tools or perform construction activities that aren’t safe for children. Maybe you could get your kid to help carry some of the smaller wooden materials, or get his input on the overall look and design of the pirate ship playhouse. Working together with your kid in this project will help develop and strengthen the bond between the both of you. I did the pirate ship playhouse construction project with my kid last year, and our bond as father and son has become a lot stronger as a result.

Now, there’s a fun, beautiful and solidly built wooden pirate ship playhouse standing in his backyard. You can learn more about Christian’s achievement by reading this page.
