Upcoming Kids Pirate Outfits That Are Worth Checking Out
Novelty Kiddos Is Set To Bring You The Ahoy Glorious Pirates! Costume Collection
“The Ahoy Glorious Pirates!” is a collection of children’s pirate costumes and a new entry by Novelty Kiddos into the rather large realm of pirate costumes for kids. This collection has a lot of things to offer, which hopefully will raise it into the elite at your local costume store. The collection consists of seven kids’ pirate costumes to choose from, all with an incredible number of bells and whistles. If you think that most pirate outfits for kids are lacking various extras that appeal to children, then these outfits sure won’t disappoint. In the finished collection, there will be at least 10 different accessories with each costume.
Besides the same old eye-patches, bandanas and pirate boots and jackets, some of the outfits come with plastic pirate swords, plastic hook hands (for the child who wishes to play as the infamous Captain Hook.), plastic parrot prop (for the child who wants to play as Long John Silver.), plastic pirate pistols, fake full beards, fake long and curly wigs, and many, many more fun pirate-themed accessories. With these extras to complement the costumes, your kid can play just about any pirate character imaginable from Captain Hook of Peter Pan to Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Caribbean.
The costumes also come with a set of cards featuring amazingly illustrated original pirate characters conceived by Novelty Kiddos. There are seven characters – one on each card – all extremely interesting such as Captain Blunto, who can focus his power and shape his limbs to form blunt objects. Drake Zimor, whose body when empowered with magical pirate gems, turns into a walking rock-like creature, (He can throw rocks of varying sizes at his enemies.) and Mrinia, a female pirate captain with the power and fin of a tiger shark, and the body of a very strong human female.
The story of these original pirate characters (according to the artist and creator of the characters at Novelty Kiddos) goes like this: The pirate king Calico Bossa calls his 6 pirate lieutenants do battle with Ghonjis The Conqueror to recover the ancient pirate treasure of Dromizee. The magical pirate treasure when used in a large open space, can conjure real objects such as gigantic pirate ship cannons, Caribbean reef sharks and even a massive Kraken monster! Calico himself is one tough cookie, at full height he is easily twice the size of his pirate lieutenants. He also has a number of special attacks of his own, and also has other minions who are more than willing to protect him with their lives.
The Ahoy Glorious Pirates costume collection should reach costume shops by December. Unfortunately, it will have some stiff competition with Rubie's Pretend Princess of the Seas Costume and Pirates of the Seven Seas Child's Captain Black Costume, Melissa & Doug’s Rave Pirate Role Play Costume Set and Fun World’s ever popular Toddler Girl High Seas Buccaneer Costume. Get in from the cold this season – stores selling children’s pirate costumes should be hot this Christmas.

CuteseeYYY TOTS Is Set to Launch the Pirate Queen of the Sea Costume Set
Well, CuteseeYYY TOTS does always launch a new kids’ pirate costume with a buccaneer sword, a dagger or a pistol made of plastic, but come on CuteseeYYY TOTS, a foam buccaneer sword? Couldn’t you have done better? The foam sword is so flimsy, though; there probably is a whole bunch of parents who appreciate that the sword is made of foam instead of plastic, which could get a kid hurt. Hmmm. Anyway, this Pirate Queen of the Sea Costume set is gorgeous! It comes with a skull and crossbones feathered hat, dark brown top, a crimson red vest, waist sash, dark brown boots, a belt with a skull shaped buckle and of course, that tacky foam sword. Rumor has it that CuteseeYYY TOTS is planning to release the costume set in five different colors: Dark brown, dark green, dark blue, dark orange and dark purple. Nothing spectacular, but several different colors to choose from is always nice anyway – that is if the rumor is true.
